Loves flyball, backpacking, swimming, hiking, freestyle, skateboarding, tries to dock dive.
Has some greeting issues that we're working on. He’s mommy’s boy!

Sable, Mo, Cheyenne, Draiko

These German Shepherds were all rescues.  They all love going to the various Dog Scout functions including canoeing, picnics, dog fairs, and fund raisers.  Their favorite outing is swimming.

Tillie -Greyhound

Tillie is a typical greyhound. She came to us via teamgreyhound.com, where she participated in the prison dog program.  Her hobbies are running with other dogs in the dog park, car rides, getting and looking for treats, sniffing things on walks and saying "hello" to people.  She likes to run after squirrels and bunnies, but doesn't try to catch them It's about running, after all!  The rest of the time she sleeps.  She is a therapy dog, and visits a nursing home weekly.

Sunstar - Yellow Labrador

She is a working guide dog who enjoys the off leash socialization at troop meetings where she can spend some "off-time" being "just a dog."

 Stryker - Shetland Sheepdog

Stryker has ben in the troop since June of 2006. He has many titles in obedience and agility, is a therapy dog and has his PackDog Excellent title through DSA. He is a wonderful dog and is very well behaved so he goes with me anywhere dogs are welcome.

Kodi- Standard Poodle

Kodi loves going on hikes with the troop. She also enjoys the canoe rides and campouts. Kodi is a therapy dog and gets really excited when we go to visit people in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, or whereever. She loves  people and other dogs.

Chloe - Weimaraner

Jazzy - Weimaraner

Enjoying a day on the beach. They are avid walkers & hikers going out everyday and love the troop weekend hikes, particularly when there's a lot of good sniffing to be done. Chloe has been down to three legs since September 2006, but still goes on hikes and bosses Jazzy around. Both girls were adopted and have been Troop members since 2002.

Luah - Labradoodle

This is Luah after she painted her picture at 
Dog Scout Camp. However, she much prefers chasing a tennis ball, dock diving, swimming and agility! She will be 2 years old in December but she is much calmer and wiser than her years. She is a much loved friend for Julie as they both adjust to their new home in the Cincinnati area.

Tanner - Labradoodle

Tanner loves swimming, frisbie and long hikes in the woods.  He likes Dog Scouts because he gets to do all his favorite things.

Meet the Pack. Kip and I joined the troop in 2002. Since then, our pack has grow by leaps and bounds. Five of my dogs were at one time in rescue and they found and adopted me. Caelan- smooth coated collie

Caelan (tri-color) and Shae (sable and white) are both from iffy backgrounds.  Caelan was a parvo puppy, who would have died in the breeder's hands, had she not been adopted.  She was adopted through TriState Collie Rescue as a youngster.  Both girls are about 3 yrs. old and love to do anything to do with getting out and being social with humans and/or other dogs.

We are both 3 years old, love to go swimming, dock diving, tracking, walking, rally obedience, playing ball and meeting other dogs at troop meetings.

Gracie, DSA - Beagle/Cattle dog mix

Lilly - Collie/Lab/Beagle mix

These girls try to participate in troop activities when possible.  Both were rescued and are very happy now.  Watching out the windows, playing fetch, chasing squirrels and helping relax clients are their favorite activities.
